Blue Hats is a jazz band inspired by the iconic album Blue Hats by the Yellowjackets, to which its name refers. The band members met thanks to similar musical tastes and find common ground primarily in the compositions of Russell Ferrante, but also authors such as Bob Mintzer, Joshua Redman and Bob Berg. The band consists of Michal Doležal (keyboards), Jan Kusovský (bass), Zdeněk Puchmeltr (drums) and Marek Buble (saxophones)
